Water Buffalo, Monkeys, and Goats, Oh My!

Water buffalo, cows, goats, chickens, sheep, and monkeys roam around freely in this lovely village.

Water Buffalo are everywhere.  Here they lie at the edge of a rice field

  1. Kim, even if Alanna begs you (and she can be VERY convincing!), DO NOT let her bring that baby goat home with her! :)

  2. Andreas, even if Dimitri asked you to "bring me back a monkey!" please don't try!!! :-)

  3. Jenna, I know how tempted you are to pick up and hug these animals(even the water buffalo!). Please resist!.......A bit of musical trivia: On this day in 1968, George Harrison and John Lennon, with their wives, traveled to India to study Transcendental Meditation with the Guru Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney followed two days later....just thought I'd throw that in.

  4. Colton, I thought you would like to know that Mary E is sending out the blast text messages from Kim. Well Grandma Kathy called me to tell me that she got a text from you saying that you were India and doing good. I told her that it wasn't from you. She said Oh S@#$, she said "I sent back a long text telling him how I love him and I am praying everyday." I was cracking up and though you would be too!! Love you,

  11. These comments are just as entertaining as the photos of the animals, thank you, everyone! And I would like to echo the no petting and no packing rule as far as the livestock goes. Pearl wouldn't know what to do with a goat, although I think Dad might like one roaming about the yard, Col! We are enjoying the sights and snippets of your adventure! Love, Mom XOXO
